What is 'My Account'? How do I update my information?

My Account feature allows you to create your account on the Mapro website and store your personal details such as your address, phone number and email id. You need to provide this information to us to make online orders and track your online orders delivery status.

The personal data that you save or update would save your time in providing the information again for the repeated orders. Your personal data is password protected. You can change your password and update your account details anytime, if required.

Is it necessary to have an account to shop on Mapro?

No. You only need to have an account if you wish to save your information for repeated orders.

How do I pay for a Mapro purchase?

You can make direct payment via PayUMoney. This payment gateway accepts VISA, MasterCard, Debit Cards and the Net Banking transactions from all major banks. In addition you can make payment through your gift voucher.

Are there any hidden charges (Octroi or Sales Tax) when I make a purchase on Mapro?

No. There are no hidden charges. You only need to pay the amount that is mentioned for a listed item. The prices that you see for an item include all taxes.

How do I pay using a credit/debit card?

You can make direct payment via PayUMoney. PayUMoney accepts VISA, MasterCard, Debit Cards and the Net Banking of all major banks.

Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on Mapro?

Yes. It is absolutely safe to use your credit/debit card on Mapro website. The website uses the PayUMoney payment gateway for online payment transactions. PayUMoney uses dedicated encrypted PCI DSS compliant server. Once stored, the card details can be edited/ removed anytime by the customer.

What steps does Mapro take to prevent card fraud?

We understand the importance of preventing a card fraud. For this we, along with our payment partner PayUmoney, closely monitor all online transactions for any suspicious activity. If we detect any suspicious activity, we mark those transactions and manually verify them.

In certain cases, when we doubt a transaction, we put the transaction on hold and request the customers to provide identity documents to ensure that the purchases are made by the genuine customer.

What is a 3D Secure password?

3D secure password is an additional layer of security for your debit/credit card transaction simplemented by Visa and Master Card in partnership. Under this level of security, you need to provide the password that is created by you and is only known to you, before completing a transaction.

How can I get the 3D Secure password for my credit/debit card?

You need to visit your bank’s website to get the3D Secure password for your credit/debit card.

Can I use my bank's Internet Banking feature to make a payment?

Yes, you can use the Internet Banking feature to make a highly secure transaction by directly transferring funds from your bank account.

How do I buy/gift an e-Gift Voucher?

Click on the Gift Voucher link to go to the Gift Voucher page. Fill the receiver’s details and the amount for the gift voucher and then proceed to pay. You can pay by using your credit/debit card or by net banking through PayUMoney payment gateway.

If the amount of purchase is more than the amount of the gift voucher, you will be prompted to choose any other payment option for the rest of the amount.

In case of any return or cancellation of your order through e-Gift voucher, the money will be returned back to your gift voucher for some other later date purchase.

Does an e-Gift Voucher expire?

Yes, an e-Gift Voucher expires one year after the date of its issue.

Can I use promotional codes with e-Gift Vouchers?

Yes. Promotional codes can be used with e-gift vouchers.

Is there a limit on how many e-Gift vouchers I can use on a single order?

Yes, on a single purchase, you cannot use more than 3 gift vouchers.

What Terms & Conditions apply to e-Gift Vouchers?

The e-Gift Vouchers can be used to make purchases on the Mapro website. They cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers. They need to be redeemed within one year from the date of issue. If the amount of purchase is more than the amount of the gift voucher, the user will be prompted to choose any other payment option for the rest of the amount. Not more than 3 gift vouchers can be combined for a single purchase.

In addition, the gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. The gift vouchers however, can be transferred to other users. Once purchased, the gift vouchers cannot be returned or sold. No new gift vouchers can be issued against the expired gift vouchers. There are no charges associated with the gift vouchers purchase.

How do I check the current status of my orders?

Click on the Track Order link at the top right corner of any page on the website. Provide your order id in the text box that appears in the Track your order window that opens.  The order is given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you have received. Click Check Status.

What do the different order status mean?

There can following different status for an order: Payment Pending Authorization : Your order received but it is waiting on the payment gateway for authorization. Payment Authorized, Order under Processing : Your order received and authorization by the payment gateway but it is under processing. Order Shipped : Your order has been shipped and is on its way for delivery. Order Cancelled : Your order is cancelled.

When and how can I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order before it reaches the "Order Shipped" state.

In case the product you received is damaged or defective, our Returns policy has got you covered. Please call us or email us on cs@mapro.com. We will arrange for a pick up for the damaged/ defective product and send you a replacement.

If your order is cancelled or not delivered to your desired location, we will refund the order amount including Shipping charges.

If you return an order that is delivered to you, we will still refund your entire amount including the Shipping chargers.

What are the delivery charges?

For all purchases above Rs 800, the order will be delivered at your doorstep, free of cost.

Shipping charge will be levied on orders below Rs. 800. Shipping Charges may vary on the weight of your order and your location. The applicable Shipping Charges are shown in your Order Summary before you proceed to Payments

What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated delivery time depends on the location of the delivery. Usually it takes 2-4 business days to deliver where standard courier service is available. At some locations it may take 1-2 weeks where orders need to be delivered using registered posts by Indian postal service.

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline mentioned?

Some courier partners do not work on Sundays and other holidays. In case such holidays appear in between your order delivery, there may be a mismatch between the delivery timeline mentioned and the actual date of delivery.

Mapro does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

We deliver our products throughout India. However, there may be certain areas where we do not deliver. Each product page has a Shipping Area Check. Please check your shipping area to find out whether the products can be delivered to your area or not.

I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?

If you wish to cancel your order, you can simply call us or write to us at cs@mapro.com and we will work out a complete refund for you.

Does Mapro deliver internationally?

No. We deliver our products only in India.

How does the delivery process work?

All items are shipped through reputed couriers. You will be informed when your consignment is shipped and you will be provided an order no, which you can use to track your consignment.

How are items packaged?

We follow standard packaging procedure to pack items. All items are shipped in packages with waterproof plastic bags. The delicate items are wrapped in bubble wrap for safety and security.

How can I track the delivery of my order?

What items can I Exchange?

You can exchange an item for the same product in different flavor and weight. The item that you want to exchange should not be tempered and used. Also, you need to provide the item with its original packing, including its invoice, serial number and price tags.

When are returns not possible?

The returns are difficult for us to support when the items are used, tempered, or the original packing, which includes the invoice, serial number and the price tag, are missing.

Do I have to return the free gift when I return a product?

Yes, the free gift needs to be returned because it is a part of the original order.

Can I return part of my order?

Yes, if you have ordered multiple items, you can return some of them and initiate a partial return process.

When are Refunds provided?

We wish to provide you a wonderful and hassle free shopping experience. We assure you that your money is safe with us. Your money will be refunded to you, in case you receive a damaged or defective item and the replacement of the item is not possible.

I have requested a replacement, when will I get it?

As soon as we receive a replacement request, we send you an email detailing the pick-up and replacement details. At most locations we pick and replace at the same time. However, at some locations, we need to first collect the returned item and then send the replaced item through courier again. If you don’t receive the replaced item on the promised date, please contact us immediately.

I've still not received the refund to my bank account. Why?

If you have received a confirmation of the refund email from us, please be assured that you will get your refund as soon as possible and we are following the financial organization/bank for the same. In some cases the financial organizations take a longer time to process a refund. However, if you don’t receive the refund on the promised date, please contact us.

What is the pickup process? Why have I been asked to ship the item?

We arrange pickup from most of the customer locations. However, at times, we need to request our customers to send us back the item that needs to be replaced. In such cases we reimburse the shipping charges against the courier receipt.

While you ship back the item, please make sure that the item is packed safely and do not get damaged in transit. Please mention the return id on the packet, so that we can acknowledge the receipt of the item.

Also, please make sure that item that you want to exchange should not be tempered and used and you send us the item with its original packing, including its invoice, serial number and price tags.

I have changed my mind and would like to retain the product. What do I do?

If you have decided to retain the same product, please call us to cancel the replacement. As soon as we will receive your replacement cancellation request, we will do the needful. If the item is already dispatched, please do not accept the item.

How do I cancel an order?

If you wish to cancel your order, you can simply call us or write to us at cs@mapro.com and we will work out a complete refund for you.

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

We normally take 1-2 business days to process a cancellation request and initiate the refund. However, the banks may take 7-10 days to process the refund and transfer the money back to your account.

What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?

There are two modes of refunds available : Mapro Wallet: Your money will be safe with us for future purchases. Back to source: You money will be refunded to the payment mode/bank account.

Guidelines for Writing Product Reviews

When you write product reviews, you help the other users to choose the products for buying. So it is important that you must have used the product before writing a review. Your review should be concise and informative. A catchy title will help to gain the attention of users. Besides, the use of small sentences, which are easily understandable by the users, a quick edit, and a spell check will do wonders for your credibility.

What's Not Allowed?

We will be glad to receive product reviews from you. Before writing a product review, please keep in mind that the review you write is related to the product in question. The review text should not contain any inflammatory comment, plagiarized or promotional content, your personal information, and pricing related comment. In addition, you review should be written in English language only using your own id.
